Had these tires on my truck and would buy them again. Works great in all conditions.
Great tire. 265/75/16 fits stock Tacoma rims (no lift kit) without any rubbing! Great offroad/snow/mud capability with solid on-road handling.
These things wear like iron! 50+K on them and they are still in good shape. I know these things have been the gold standard for off road tires for many years and with good reason. They have worked very well for us as we have been out exploring the US. They have climbed the slick rock near Moab, pulled us through the mud in Northern Wisconsin, up a shale scattered road in New Mexico, up rocky mountain roads in Montana, and through the sand in Arizona. Where they lack performance is in clay mud (most tires do) and turning in snow and on ice. In the snow they really do hook up, if you are going in a straight line. Corners, even at snow covered road city speeds, can be sphincter tightening. That and they are not quiet, but I didn't expect them to be. As I said these 'have been' the gold standard for years. I don't think they are anymore, as I think there are better options for all'round tires now. If the price drops down, now with the next gen All Terrains out, they would be a great bargain tire for a utility truck that you plan on driving for years. So, no I would not buy again, just because I think there are better tires now.
Totally satisfied with my purchase.
These tires are great. They handle everything I have put them through. I use them driving through fields that are very muddy.
Good tires.
When I purchased for my 2500 Ram I wanted an all around tire and these BFG All Terrains were the ticket.
I bought a set of 4 some years ago. Rotated every other oil change, got 30 some K miles. Still passed inspection but I'm ready for a new set. I use my truck as a truck and take it everywhere, through the woods and all plus I live on a dirt road. I've had these on a Cherokee, 2wd Dakota, and my K1500. Love them!
Awesome tires
The first set I bought didn't wear very evenly. Rotated every oil change but only got around 30,000 miles. People I know have got 60,000 out of them, so I think maybe I got some bad ones or something. I would be open to try them another time just to see.
Great tire, wears well, has tremendous griping in all conditions. Love the look too!
Best tire I have had. Never get stuck or slip with these tires on my vehicle.
These are some amazing tires, period! I could stop there but I recently read an article about the BFG KO2 tires running the BAJA complete on one set, never used the spare and the tires were ready for a daily driver after the race! While mine are the step below the ones I just mentioned, they will be the ONLY other tires I will put on my truck if I ever need to replace mine. These tires handle anything and everything from loose gravel to deep snow! I knew from past experience that BFG made great tires, but some time had passed since I had the need to buy tires after buying and trading 2 new vehicles, well long story short it's safe to say they have only gotten better with time, like a fine wine, I will never need to use anything else! I don't know what else BFG can do but keep it up and take my money!
They are nice but too much $ in my opinion.
I am on my second set of these tires. The first set I drove well over 40,000 miles on them and they held up great. Had even wear, low road noise and were incredible in the snow. I had Pro Comp ATs previous to purchasing the BFG ATs and these tires blow them out of the water! I highly recommend them!
Great tires, would definitely buy again!
Excellent off road tire. Very solid. One of the better tires I've owned.
They didn't ask about mud traction. That is the only place where these tires aren't the best. Of course, they are an AT tire, so I expect them to pack mud and not shed it easily. Otherwise, you don't need tire chains with these things in the snow, and since I put an E rated tire on a 1/4 ton truck, it handles like it's on rails. No sidewall flex even with a full load of firewood. Oh and they look decent too.
Had these tires on my 2004 Ford F150 FX4. Treadwear, they lasted 48K, which is what I expected. Not too good in wet pavement conditions, slid when braking and when accelerating on pavement. Ok in snow provided 5 inches or less on the ground if recently snowed, packed down they had difficulty gripping. Ice traction poor. Did not have much road noise despite seeing it on many reviews. Dry traction on pavement and dirt were excellent, however, I live off dirt roads, so the roads tend to be muddy most of the year living in Michigan. These tires performed just ok, not great and not bad. Possibly would buy again.
Great tire so far. Haven't had snow to try them out in yet, but work great in light off-roading.
Great tire. Would buy again.
I HAVE BOUGHT THESE BEFORE. THE LAST SET WORE OUT AFTER 16,000 MILES. DROVE LIKE I HAVE BEFORE BUT THESE ARE DONE. WILL NEVER BUY THEM AGAIN.
Simply AWESOME on my truck. First set I got every bit of 53000 miles out of and I wasn't kind to them at all. TA/KO's do great in mud and dirt. Air em down and they float on sand very respectably as well. Can't say enough positive about these shoes.
Great dirt/mud traction.
BFG All Terrains are pretty much the standard that light truck all terrain tires are measured against. They are expected to do great offroad in any situation an all terrain should do well in (so everything but mud, and they're not horrible there) as well as do the daily commute in all weather conditions without trouble. They do this well. The tough construction of the tire makes them handle well onroad and take a beating offroad. I've loved having them these past 40,000+ miles. The problem is the price. They are great tires, but you pay for it. Now-a-days there are several other choices that do as well and cost significantly less. These are due for replacement soon, and I think I will buy a more budget friendly tire. It will have big shoes to fill though.
Great tires for work.
Great tires! These tires last a long time and provide great traction on the road and off. The only tires I will put on my truck.
Good tires for anywhere.
Yes, I would buy again. Most definitely good tires.
Excellent tires.
Great tire! Will definitely buy again!!!
N/A
All around good tires. I am very happy with the purchase.
I won't buy any other tire for my truck. I absolutely love them!
Wonderful tire.. been around a long time.. love the aggressive tread and the traction on and off road when needed.
Great wear
Love the tires, they not only ride awesome, but they look amazing!!!
the all terrains are great tires
great tires
Awesome set of tires. Would for sure buy again. Had Hankook Dynapros and wanted a more aggressive look so I went with these. They look sweet and they are 33s which I love. Seems like the ride of my truck is also a lot smoother!
Great place to get tires and service.
They are a good company.
I have had these tires on my truck for about 4 months now and have roughly 5,000 miles on them. These are by far the best tires I've had on this truck. Nice smooth ride for an aggressive tread tire, low road noise and awesome traction. I will be buying more of these tires in the future.
Awesome tires. I would recommend them to anyone.
The system above would not let me list my 1991 F-150 that I really had these on. However these have to be the best all around/all season tires that I have ever had. They were great in almost all conditions.
Overall a great tire with good wear. The only issue I ran into was the rubber was a little hard for icy situations in the winter. Great tire for a mix of highway and road driving.
Awesome tire, built to last and it did. Put the 10 ply tires on my Blazer and ran them for 80,000 Km and it still had more than 50% tread left. I drove hundreds if not thousands of kms on hard gravel/forest service roads with no problems. Even over the sharpest gravel I've ever seen, they didn't show any signs of cuts etc. I wouldn't put the 10 ply on a small car again though, very rough ride, hard on the suspension. That's my only complaint. Road noise was little to none. I also ran them at 38 PSI the entire life I had them. I have a Ram 1500 now and will try out the 6 ply as I wont be 4x4ing as much.
Great tire
Awesome tires.
I have these tires going on my truck Tuesday afternoon. From reading all your comments I'm very excited to try them out. I will let everyone know how they work here in Oregon.
Great all terrain tire.
These are the best tires all around that I have ever owned.
Great tires. I would buy these again anytime!
I absolutely LOVE these tires. I've had them on my truck since 2006 and they are just now ready for replacement. Could not be happier.
This is a great tire. I put these tires on all my trucks. I highly reccomend them to anyone.
GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great Tires! Ride very smooth with fantastic traction.
Great tire. I wish I had them on my Toyota truck.
Great tire for snow and off road. Wears great as well. I've tried them all and this tire is the best for 4 season and for using a4wd the way it was intended to be used.
Good tire, mine are just a little bald.
Awesome tire.
I'm looking for tires for a 2004 f350. I'd like to go as big as I can on a 16" rim. Right now I have stock tire size and am looking for an all season (used). Ps I know that I pick a tire at top of page but it won't give me what I want. Thx
I currently run a set of 31x10.50/15 All Terrains and I must say they are amazing tires for both on and off road use. Although I would not recommend these as a pure off-roading tire as there are better, they are great for casual off road use/mudding and have held up amazing throughout all of the journeys on and off road they have taken me on. Even with the bigger walls for this tire with my 15" rim, there isn't a whole lot of flex on them when cornering at speed, and they have solid traction when roads are wet. If you're looking for a tire that will give your vehicle a more aggressive look with good handling and won't decrease gas mileage too much (mine does due to the wider width) than don't look much further than these.
You get what you pay for and the BFGoodrich All-Terrain delivers. Good looking tire, rides great on the street, and has exceptional performance off-road.
The best tires for the money. They last a long time and are also a smooth riding tire. They are quiet on the road and fully capable of moderate four wheeling. You get what you pay for and I couldn't ask anymore from my tires. Thanks
The BFG All terrain T/A KO is the only tire I run.
Happy customer!
Great tire! Highly recommend.
Great tire!!!!! Just goes and goes. Excellent wear!!!! For a big tire like I have, 2.85-75-16, hardly any tire noise!!! Great tire from a great tire dealer!!!
Excellent performance in snow and off-road. Thick sidewall prevents flats from thorns, etc. Would definitely recommend this tire for off road and all season use.
I'm in the market for some 33 x 12.5 x 16.5 A/T Tires. Brand not that important. I'm looking for a set of five. I drive on a beach and bald tires work the best. Thank you, Mark McNeley
Love these tires, would recommend to any Jeep owner. They have an awesome tread look on the car and have lasted a really long time! Definitely worth the money!
Good tires but wear uneven and quick and get loud and rough. I will buy mud terrains next time.
These are excellent tires and I would recommend to many people.
Excellent tire for all weather and off road. Very aggressive tire with very little road noise. I put them on my truck in Nov and have driven for 4000km now with trips through the mountains of BC and up to Big White. I've driven through snow storms, ice, and rain and only had to put it in four wheel drive twice for only a short time each.
Awesome!!!
Great tires!
First set lasted almost 5 years. They were 285s on 16s. Second set are still going strong. I bought them Xmas 2010. They are 325s on 18s. Awesome tires.
Tires did great in all conditions.
Nice tire, but definitely not a mud tire. Great tire on dirt and rocky roads. Better than the mud tires in the snow.
These tires are great. I've had these tires for +10k miles and they still look new. Great traction on and off the road. I had Firestone tires on my truck before, and BFG's blow them out of the water in regards to quality and appearance. I would buy these tires again, and recommend them to anyone.
I have had these tires on my '98 Chevy 1500, my 2001 Tacoma, and on my 2000 Chevy 1500. Love them because they last forever.
Excellent tire, great in snow.
This tire is for the outdoorsmen. It gets you down the muddy goat trails in summer and you can almost throw the shovel out in winter cause these tires do all the work. The ice fisherman's dream!
I have been buying these tires for all my trucks since the early 90s. At one point, with all our kids driving, our yard looked like a GM dealership. We had a 1999 Silverado, 2000 Silverado, 2001 Sierra, 2002 Silverado, and a 2003 Yukon XL 4x4. All had BFG All Terrain’s. I haven’t had a tire issue ever since. No flats, no more blow outs, no more belt separation. Just 50,000 miles average mileage for every set. Today I’m shopping for my daughter-in-law’s Sierra 4x4. She will be getting 315/70/17’s. I also got my friends who race in the BAJA 1000 to use BFG’s. They say they now have fewer flats than ever before. Great product line.
love this tire. Looks great and rides great. Will definitely buy this tire again.
Love these tires. They handle well, look great. Awesome.
Great tire overall. Have had multiple sets on different vehicles and they have been great. Have and continue to recommend them to others.
Best tires ever.
Good tires. I would buy them for all my trucks.
Awesome tire. If I can afford to buy again, I will.
These tires are amazing on and off road.
I've had different tires before and NONE have done the job that the KO's do. Went on a trip and was in ice and snow and had different tires when we started, they were terrible. I stopped and bought new KO's to finish the trip. They made a big difference and I felt safe on the ice and snow. Have 5 trucks and they all have BFG KO's on them. ONLY TIRE I WILL BUY!!!!!! Love them.
Over 100k miles on the 285/75/16 D's. Handled everything, even very large loads! Never an issue with snow, mud, or low maintained roads. Will never own another brand of tire!
This is the only Tire I will ever put on all my trucks! I've had a set on my Tundra, 4Runner and two of my Jeeps.
Excellent tire.
Have never owned any other set of tires. I have several Jeeps and have all different sized tires and never a problem. Last set had over 100k miles on them. Won't own anything but the Michelin ko, best tires ever had. Also use Michelin on my wife's car and have all the trust in world in them. We live in North Carolina towards mountains, so do get snow and the tires do fine.
I use my truck for everything, including towing campers and 4-wheeling. These tires may not be the best at one thing, but they are the best at everything. Reasonable comfort and noise levels on the highway, good load capacity and excellent off-road traction. I wont have anything else on the truck I rely on for everything.
These tires are awesome! Great traction in all situations. I got nearly 60,000 miles on my first set. I would buy them again!
I've had 3 sets of these tires on my truck and there will be no other tire that I will buy other than this. It has great traction off road when I go to my hunting lease, and grips the road great! I am averaging about 60K miles out of each set which I think is great for an all terrain which aren't even given a mileage rating. All you have to do is keep them rotated and kept up with the proper pressure and you will get excellent service out of these tires!
Great tires. My last set went 80,000 miles in 9 years. They could have gone another 10,000 miles or so, but with winter coming I opted to put a new set on. They handle well and are fairly quiet for a heavely treaded tire. They aren't cheap, but they seem to outlive any other tire I've ever had by 3 or 4 years.
The only complaint I have is that the gas mileage in my Jeep Wrangler is worse with these tires on - it happened immediately when I put the tires on, went from average of about 18 mpg to average of about 15 mpg.
I have 88,200 miles on the current set purchased in 2004. Excellent tires, I put them on all my trucks.
Granted I have never been a fan of BF Goodwrench they handle better then alot of a/t tire I have owned. Although I will not buy anouther set of these as they dont age well. They have been balanced and rotated as per recmmendation but after 7 years the life is still more than half the treadlife they are seperating. I am being told that its due to age but yea I'm not stupid and have a fair share of exsperience in tire sales and installation and for tires to seperate like these is defect or abuse. These have never been over 60 mph and what offroading they have seen is a dirt road or feild on cub scout camping trips. This truck is not a hot road and is driven frequently just not driving far which is why the tread is so deep.. I suspect poor production not age... I wont buy again..
Rear-end slippage when cornering on wet surfaces has been severely reduced. These tires give a nice stable ride, are quiet, and hold up to rough surfaced/gravel roads.
